The chisels are then polished to a mirror finish and fitted with the perfect sized handle suited to the blade width. Electronic monitoring during the forging and hardening process ensures that high standards are consistently maintained. Kirschen Firmer Chisels are fitted with an oval wooden handle that fits comfortably in the hand, with a double loop to protect the handle when striking with a mallet.
